Alexcia Scheinman 9/23/25 Op-Ed 3 The left wing and the right wing have one thing in common, the problems that they have in the country that they share. Where is the common ground? Politics are originated to gain and hold. These two words carry a lot of power in a government. Politics can influence and provide an outlet to make decisions. When voting for a president, the vote can remain anonymous if chosen to do so. The feeling of your opinion, remaining anonymous can make a decision easier, but can also cause for less thinking revolving around the decision. On the flip-side, your opinion on who you choose to vote for can be vocalized as loudly as you would like. Civil liberties provides us with the stability and access to basic human rights and guaranteed freedom.
